By admin Posted in Luxury Cars / No Comments »

Have you ever wanted to fly down a road at high speeds with your dream car without a care in the world? Well with a large amount of online free car games, this can become a reality for any car lover or any casual online game lover. There are many different varieties of car games. Car games based in outer space, different countries, games based off of movies and TV shows, as well as simple racing games all exist for the player to enjoy.

Controls for most car games are simple. The four arrow keys on any laptop or computer correspond with acceleration, direction and braking. In the vast majority of games, the “Up” arrow is to move forward, the “Down” arrow is to stop or brake, and the “Left” and “Right” arrows are for steering your vehicle. Easy controls can prevent frustration among those who may not be as comfortable when it comes to computers.

Another bonus to car games that adds to their fun and excitement is the music. In place of generic, bland background noise, there’s energetic and fun music for the player to keep them into the game. At first it doesn’t seem like something that an average person wouldn’t really pay attention to. However, the music of online car games can either make the game more fun or not as enjoyable depending on how the soundtrack is.

Among the different types of online car games, there can be many different objectives. Some offer the chance to take out the bad guy, go on a high speed chase, complete an objective in the quickest time possible, or one can just play a game for a good old fashioned race. Anything is possible within the world of online car games. They provide a chance to escape the regular world an enter one filled with fast cars and good times. Whether it’s racing on the moon’s surface, accelerating for the finish line, stopping an enemy, or making money for a character, online car games are a free way of having a lot of fun. They’ll be sure to keep you glued to your seat to wait and see what will happen next.

Boxers and Cars

By admin Posted in Luxury Cars / No Comments »

Madison Square Garden in New York will be the scene of the Boxing Super Welterweight WBA World Championship between Miguel Cotto and Antonio Margarito on the 3rd of December 2011.  In anticipation of this, let us have a look at boxers and cars.

Cotto is mainly known for having accidents in cars, and Margarito is generally associated with classical cars (his manager is a big fan) and driving, wait for it, a pickup truck.  This is in stark contrast to some of the other boxers that are out there at the moment.

Ricky Hatton, for example, also known as The Hitman, drives a monster of a car in the form of a BMW X5, which is a real beast.  However, as a true Brit, he is of course a fan of the series Only Fools and Horses and hence also owns a three wheeled Robin Reliant Regal, just like the one in the epic comedy show.  Floyd Mayweather is someone who really likes his cars and doesn’t mind spending a considerable amount of money on them.  He owns both a Rolls Royce Phantom and a Ferrari 360.  Another example is Joe Calzaghe, from Wales, who has recently sold both of his cars, a Mercedes SL350 and a BMW M3.

Chris Eubank, one of the best known boxers ever, likes unique and different cars and is known to have owned a Hummer H2 as well as an American Peterbilt 379 – one of those truck cabs.  Lennox Lewis, the biggest boxer to ever have come out of the United Kingdom, owned one of the most luxurious cars on the market: the Bentley Azure Mulliner as well as an exclusive version of the Austin Martin Virage.

As you can see, boxers like their cars but they all have very different tastes. Cotto and Margarito will have a chance to complete their garage after they get a payout for Saturday’s fight. Watch Cotto vs Margarito live and enjoy the show!

Audi Making in-roads in the US: Official Sponsor for the 63rd Annual Emmy Awards

By admin Posted in Luxury Cars, New Cars / No Comments »

Audi has never really been seen as a luxury option when it comes to cars in the US. They have always more traditionally focused on European markets and have had great success, being one of the most well-known and successful luxury car brands around. In the US though only around 5.5 per cent of American car buyers consider the automaker as an option but they are trying their hardest to get their name out there.

The German manufacturers announced the deal this week as a multi-year sponsorship which will see the company join forces with the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences which will culminate at the 63rd Annual Emmy Awards on September 18th, hosted by the actress Jane Lynch.

As well as Audi being one of the main sponsors of the Emmys it will also serve a purpose at several events that lead up to the award show. This will see new audi cars such as the A6 as well as the A7 and their flag ship A8 chauffeuring select guests to several of the events throughout the awards season.

On top of this Audi will also host their own annual pre – Emmy party in Hollywood a week before the main awards show.

Audi has never been a stranger to sponsorship and self-promotion in these areas, having worked closely with Britain’s BAFTA group and film franchise such as Iron Man. Additionally Audi has also been very involved in the Football market, sponsoring big teams such as Manchester United and Arsenal. Hopefully a trend will begin to emerge for Audi in the American market and people will begin to see them as a great luxury car.

Do you think Audi will be able to make it in America and push their brand? Tell us your thoughts.

Aston Martin Make Branded Car Accessories Not Rubbish

By admin Posted in Luxury Cars / No Comments »

It’s difficult to use anything branded with your favourite car manufacturer and not be labelled a tool; the most you can get away with is a key ring (and even that is pushing it). Who can forget Joey in Friends attempting to convince people he owns a Porsche by wearing an outfit composed entirely of Porsche merchandise? It’s just not a good way to advertise yourself.

However, Aston Martin look set to break this mould by creating a piece of concept merchandise that they’ve said they’d love to distribute to people buying cars from Aston Martin dealers. It’s not cheap or tacky and, in fact, is a pretty cool piece of kit, one that manages to be cool, slick, sophisticated and God-damn futuristic all at the same time.

The phone, picture included in this post, uses solid sapphire crystal as the touch screen and has platinum bands on each side which hold the battery, SIM and electronics. The result is a phone that looks like a thick piece of glass (actually quite paperweight-like) until it’s switched on or unlocked, at which point the various app icons will appear, just as they would on a regular android phone, except these are suspended in the crystal.

When you load an app the screen will show it just as it would on any over phone, but as soon as it’s locked or switched off you get the super slick transparent look back.

The phone has other features, such as being automatically synced up with the vehicle’s electronics, allowing it to unlock the car for you upon approach. It’s rumoured to be able to link up with any onboard cameras the car has as well, allowing you to instantly post videos of your location to various social media sights.

The phone is just a concept design at the moment and may not even enter full production, but if Aston Martin do decide to go ahead with it they’ll need to work out a few small kinks, such as the weight of the phone due to its platinum bands. It also seems unlikely that something like this would keep its pristine nature for very long.

Whether an item like this would work with pre owned Aston Martins is yet to be seen. If a car was resold with the phone it came with it would surely drive up its value, but people may be loathe to part with the phone if it does end up being as good as it sounds (if it even gets produced).
